We have seven bungalows: five standard, one premium and one family bungalows. The standard and premium bungalows are designed for two people but there is room for spare mattresses on the floor, and can accommodate up to four people. The family bungalow is designed for up to five people. The full width bed platforms in the standard and family bungalows are easily convertible between double and twin mattresses.
Every bungalow has an en-suite bathroom, and eco-friendly toiletries (soap, shampoo and shower gel) are provided. Note that we have refreshing natural water showers (i.e. no hot water).

You can get to Tatai by private taxi or bus. There are buses from Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville and Kampot. You can also come by bus from Battambang or Siem Reap but in both cases that would be via Phnom Penh, and you would have to change buses there. There are even night buses from Battambang and Siem Reap to Phnom Penh, if you don’t want to spend a night there. You should get a Koh Kong bus but asked to be dropped off in Tatai, which is 20 km before Koh Kong.
We can help book taxis from Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville, Kampot, Kep, Battambang and Siem Reap. If you have your own transport, you can park your car or motorbike under the bridge, for which there is a daily charge of 10000៛ (approx. $2.50) for cars, and 5000៛ (approx. $1.25) for motorbikes.
From Thailand, you should cross the border at Ban Had Lek, from where you can get a tuk tuk or taxi to bring you to Tatai. We can prebook this for you, to save you the hassle and the haggling! Or just take the ferry to Koh Kong from Trat. (or from SihanoukVille, or Kampot, Cambodia.)

We are less than 2 km upriver of the bridge in Tatai. There is no road access to Rainbow Lodge, so we will pick you up from the bridge, and bring you here in our boat. We will pick you up from under the bridge in Tatai. If you need help with luggage, let us know, and we will come to help at the roadside. Please do not go to the Canvas & Orchids reception.
We have always had great reviews for our food. We offer a variety of meals, mostly based on Asian cuisine but with Western taste catered for. With advanced notice, we can also cater for special dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.). We try to source as much of the food and ingredients locally. In particular, we use local, seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables, and the catch of the day for fish/sea food.

Breakfast, lunch and a three-course evening meal are included in the accommodation price. We offer generous portions but, if you are get hungry in the afternoon, we offer light bar snacks. These are not included in the price.
Drinking water is provided, free of charge. With breakfast, tea or coffee (or fruit juice for children) are included in the price. Other drinks are not included. We have a selection of wines, spirits and soft drinks, and Cambodian brewed beers.
We are off-grid with no road access but we have solar panels and a back-up generator, so we should always have power.
We have free Wi-Fi available in the bar/restaurant area. It is based on the local 4G network, which is usually sufficient.
